swiss aeropole continues its development in 2023

In this respect, 2023 was another year rich in activities, which resulted, among other things, in […]

In Payerne, a new aviation company is aiming for zero carbon emissions

“Sky2Share will offer a novel model for business travel from 2024. Partner companies will buy shares in aircraft with reduced CO₂ emissions. At a time when videoconferencing and soft mobility are increasingly becoming part of our professional lives, business travel by jet, although flourishing, no longer has a very good reputation. Selim Franko has set […]

Payerne airfield: Daxair’s high-definition surveillance system deciphered

“An orange balloon shaped like an airship is rising in a hangar at the Payerne Aeropole. It is one of Daxair’s flagship observation products, and was presented to the press on Wednesday. Among other things, it can detect the outbreak of a fire over an area of between 100 and 200 km2. Founded in 2011 […]

Sky2Share

Aviation, B2B Fractional Ownership Air Mobility

“SKY2SHARE was founded to reposition business air mobility as a serious commercial and industrial business instrument creating sustainable value in the economic role (productivity, creativity and confidentiality), and social one (comfort and improved lives of the collaborators) it plays in the eyes of professional organisations; and to remedy the flamboyance it symbolises in the eyes of the public.

SKY2SHARE’s startegy is to maximise these economic and social impacts of business air mobility, while minimising its environmental footprint; this in a spirit of sustainability based on economic, social and environmental pillars. It is a participant of the Swiss Triple Impact program https://www.swisstripleimpact.ch/participants.

Our business model is primarily based on the operation of very low-consumption PILATUS PC-12 business aircraft, the substantial elimination of CO2 emissions by CLIMEWORKS https://climeworks.com/, an EPFZ spin-off, and the optimisation of standardised use procedures, for fractional ownership air mobility dedicated only to companies.

Secondly, it will be the integration into our fleet of 15 CASSIO hybrid-electric propulsion aircraft we have ordered and which are currently under development by VOLTAERO (https://aircosmosinternational.com/article/voltaero-signs-mou-with-sky2share-for-15-aircraft-3853), which, in the medium term, will be able to run with biogasoline, whose test was succesfully carried out, and liquid hydrogen https://leehamnews.com/2023/06/18/kawasaki-joins-voltaero-to-present-a-sensible-hybrid-aircraft/, very low and almost zero in CO2 emissions over their respective carbon life cycles. This will be complemented by the use of e-fuel (e-kerosene) for our PC-12 fleet, once available on a larger scale, whose CO2 emissions are almost non-existent on the carbon life cycle.”

FIREXCO SA

FIREXCO SA is a limited company founded in 1970. In June 2023, it was acquired by new administrators in order to establish a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The company is headquartered at the Swiss Aeropole in Payerne.

Jean-Louis Guillet, founder and administrator of SOLEOL SA, a leading photovoltaic company in Switzerland based in Estavayer-le-lac for 15 years, and Stéphane Rapin, co-founder and administrator of Golf de Payerne for 25 years, have joined forces to create an investment company in renewable energies, particularly in photovoltaic installations.

Through an exclusive and privileged partnership with SOLEOL SA, FIREXCO SA provides expertise across the entire energy value chain, from project research, engineering studies, permitting, financing, construction, certification, to energy commercialization and monitoring for 25 to 30 years. It can thus offer investors a reliable, transparent, and attractive investment model.

In July 2023, the company developed a portfolio of projects ready to be realized in contracting for a value of 18 million Swiss francs. Three-year investment projections amount to 60 million Swiss francs over 3 years.

OUR VALUES:

We love the light which is our source of energy and the transparency it generates: transparency of costs, revenues and risks. We love the truth and are committed to it, both internally and externally. In both construction sites and proposed investments, we are devoted to upholding the highest safety standards.

And over time, we take pleasure in nurturing our partnerships.

This long-term vision resonates with the sustainability of our solar energy source and our business model, with each installation designed to be profitable for several decades.

A COMMITMENT TO PAYERNE AIRPORT

Nestled in nature, surrounded by fields yet at the heart of the Broye region’s development, our company is based at the Swiss Aeropole, alongside Payerne Airport, to whose development we aim to contribute, together with partners at the forefront of technological innovation.
