For a few days now, employees and visitors have been able to observe an unusual bird at swiss aeropole/ Payerne Airport.
His name is Enea, a 4-year-old bald ibis. It is a rare species, which almost disappeared in the 17th century. A reintroduction program was launched in Europe a few years ago, and Enea appeared in our region after travelling over 2’000km across Switzerland and Italy.
