In April 2026, Didier Callmander represented swiss aeropole and Payerne Airport at AERO Friedrichshafen in Germany. Europe’s leading trade fair for general and business aviation gathered around 820 exhibitors from more than 50 countries.
Several days of exchanges focused on our key development projects, in particular the Technology Park: 400,000 m² of land, direct runway access and a growing community of innovative companies.
We also met several current and future operators of Payerne Airport. With its 2.8 km runway, controlled airspace and dedicated infrastructure, Payerne Airport is a unique destination for drone and UAV testing in Switzerland. It combines safety, flexibility and a technical environment, and increasingly attracts innovative companies working on autonomous flight.
We look forward to being back in 2027.
