On June 11, 2025, nearly 90 participants gathered in Payerne at the Swiss Aeropole premises for the annual General Assembly of the Swiss Aerospace Cluster. The event was made possible thanks to the warm hospitality of Boschung Group and the support of Innovaud.
Key Highlights
- The day began with welcoming remarks from Emilie Boschung, Jean-Michel Stauffer, and Massimo Fiorin.
- A thought-provoking keynote was delivered by Tim Moser, who addressed the opportunities and challenges facing the aerospace industry in today’s context.
- Participants enjoyed a live demonstration flight by ALPIREUM, followed by an exclusive guided tour of the Destinus test site and workshop.
- The event wrapped up with a friendly networking apéritif, featuring a Roze Mobility helicopter on display.
Changes in Governance
During the General Assembly, a new Board of Directors was elected:
- Ronny Schreiter (Bossard Aerospace) takes over as President.
- New board members include Alexandra Isele (Beyond Gravity), Stephan Kocher (BridgeKo), and Angelo Esposito (Aurora Swiss Aerospace – Boeing). They join the existing board members Massimo Fiorin (swiss aeropole) and Maurizio Scaramuzza (Skyguide).
Outlook & Ambitions
The 2025 Assembly confirmed the strong momentum of collaboration between institutions, companies, and research stakeholders. The Cluster continues to position itself as a key catalyst for innovation in Switzerland’s aerospace sector, fostering dual-use technologies, R&D, and technology transfer.
